초 록
It is a confusing time for Particle physics. While we have many well-defined unsolved problems calling for the beyond the Standard Model, we continue seeing the absense of the evidence for the new physics. Consequencely we are pushed to the corner where we have to deal with extreme situations in various aspect. In this talk, we will briefly go over the current status of the particle physics and see what lessons we can draw from it. As an example of the extreme particle physics, I will talk about hyper-boosted top tagging at the energy frontier as an essential tool for probing the new physics.
