A neutrino is an elementary particle and the mass of the neutrino is zero, according to the standard model of particle physics. Three flavors of neutrino exist: electron neutrinos, muon neutrinos and tau neutrinos. Neutrino oscillation is a quantum mechanical phenomenon whereby one type of neutrino flavor can later be measured to have a different flavor. This requires that neutrinos have mass. Furthermore, anomaly in the LSND (Liquid Scintillator Neutrino Detector) experiment was reported and the possibility of the existence of a fourth neutrino is suggested. In addition, research on sterile neutrinos, one of the candidates for dark matter, is being actively under way. Sterile neutrino search is the biggest window to investigate beyond standard model, and is expected to play an important role in providing a new paradigm. In this talk, neutrino oscillation phenomenon will be briefly reviewed and then, neutrino oscillation and sterile neutrino experiments pursued by SRC (Science Research Center, Center for Precision Neutrino Research@CNU) will be introduced.
