  Euler topology in honeycomb lattices

   In space-time inversion symmetric systems, we can find a suitable unitary transformation in which the wave functions and Hamiltonian are real and bands can obtain nontrivial Euler topology. It is shown that nontrivial Euler topology is important for understanding band structure properties of certain insulating or semimetals. In this talk, I will introduce briefly Euler topology and then show how honeycomb lattices can give Euler topology and its non-Abelian braiding phenomenon.
